Core Advantages Spiral Impeller

         The spiral centrifugal pump integrates the advantages of traditional centrifugal pumps and spiral pumps (or positive displacement pumps) into a unique structure, which consists of one or two large-angle wound open twisted blades. This design excels when handling large particles, long fibers, heights and high concentrations of liquids. 1.Self-cleaningend cap

       

The self-cleaning end cap is located behind the impeller and is designed to reduce debris accumulation behind the impeller and around the mechanical seal. Its unique geometric structure design helps to form a circulating flow between the impeller and the end cover, thereby effectively achieving the cleaning effect. This prevents debris from accumulating behind the impeller and reduces wear on the mechanical seal.

2.The dolphin beak (indicated in red in the figure)

       

The nozzle is installed at the suction inlet of the pump, which can effectively intercept solid particles and long fibers entering the medium and guide them to the center area of the impeller. This mechanism significantly reduces the likelihood of clogging and prevents the impeller tip from becoming entangled with fibers that could damage the impeller tip. Therefore, the nozzle solves the problem of fibrous sludge present in traditional non-sludge type pumps. Importantly, the nozzle installation issue changes the excellent hydraulic characteristics of the Rockwell centrifugal impeller and instead specifically addresses the challenges of solid particles and fibrous sludge faced by traditional non-sludge type pumps.
