Core Advantages Spiral Impeller
The spiral centrifugal pump integrates the advantages of traditional centrifugal pumps and spiral pumps (or positive displacement pumps) into a unique structure, which consists of one or two large-angle wound open twisted blades. This design excels when handling large particles, long fibers, heights and high concentrations of liquids. When conveying slurry, these pumps operate smoothly and cause minimal damage to the slurry, demonstrating excellent non-destructive performance.
Unique Rotating Centrifugal Impeller
Hella Water has also developed a double helix centrifugal pump, which is an upgraded version of the existing helical centrifugal pump with a single helix centrifugal impeller. This new patented product has higher conveying efficiency, improved pressure resistance of the carbide sealing ring, and reduced material usage, making it an innovative product that is efficient, high-quality, and low-consumption.

Spiral Centrifugal lm peller Hydraulic Advantages
Whether it is an open single-channel spiral centrifugal impeller or an open forward-extending swept-tail spiral centrifugal impeller, its large channel anti-clogging characteristics ensure smooth pumping of viscous water qualities and various water qualities that require gentle transportation, and can easily meet these challenges.
1.Self-cleaningend cap
The self-cleaning end cap is located behind the impeller and is designed to reduce debris accumulation behind the impeller and around the mechanical seal. Its unique geometric structure design helps to form a circulating flow between the impeller and the end cover, thereby effectively achieving the cleaning effect. This prevents debris from accumulating behind the impeller and reduces wear on the mechanical seal.
2.The dolphin beak (indicated in red in the figure)
The nozzle is installed at the suction inlet of the pump, which can effectively intercept solid particles and long fibers entering the medium and guide them to the center area of the impeller. This mechanism significantly reduces the likelihood of clogging and prevents the impeller tip from becoming entangled with fibers that could damage the impeller tip. Therefore, the nozzle solves the problem of fibrous sludge present in traditional non-sludge type pumps. Importantly, the nozzle installation issue changes the excellent hydraulic characteristics of the Rockwell centrifugal impeller and instead specifically addresses the challenges of solid particles and fibrous sludge faced by traditional non-sludge type pumps.
